Brand Identity for new online community for women
Heather Land, a comedian, wanted to establish a brand-new online community where women could interact and discuss more serious issues. She knew she wanted something vibrant and inviting and liked the idea of a one-line sketch of a woman’s face. Creating a new forum for her to share more of her story and for other women to share theirs. We designed and curated interchangeable logo parts with lips to represent “a woman’s voice,” the string to represent the thread that goes through all of us and unites us, and a different font for each letter in “eclectic” to illustrate that we are all different sizes, looks, and so on. We went with a massive 70s-style “society” because Heather and her co-founders are over 40. And because they enjoy 90’s hip hop, we made a musical track to suit the graphics we created for the landing page fun video.
